Before a manufacturer makes the full run of vinyl records for a release, they send a handful of test pressings to the artist/label to ensure that the audio has transferred over to the vinyl format properly. These are plain black records without the album branding, and each sleeve has instructions and tips on how to properly listen and evaluate the record. Once these are approved by the team, then the rest of the records are pressed.

They contain the full Tall Tales & Fables track list, and each pressing is slightly unique given the specifics of manufacturing test pressing. Each one will be signed and numbered.
